Rejected Episode is one of the Collectibles in The Foundation expansion of Control. It is a (rejected) episode of Threshold Kids, a Bureau-produced video series used to explain paranatural concepts to young children.
Video description
This video has no subtitles or understandable dialogue. Ominous distorted music and incomprehensible dialogue can be heard throughout.
The video starts with Mr. Bones pulling down an inverted black pyramid. Topher and Meg are also seen; Topher touches the pyramid, and the video begins to change colors and distort into spirals over Topher's face. Topher then appears in an unknown space of shifting colors, surrounded by pulsating objects and silhouettes. Mr. Bones and Meg are seen back in the "normal" space. Three sock puppet hands briefly appear before Topher is shown pulsating kaleidoscopically. The video then ends with a higher-pitched excerpt of the show's intro ("Join the Threshold Kids, let's join the Threshold Kids!"), concluding with the show logo appearing in front of a television screen before the episode cuts to black.
Location
This Collectible can be found at the Astral Tower, an area of the Astral Plane accessible via the Foundation. It is located on an interactable TV found floating on the highest platform near where the Astral Tower PE Control Point is located. This is also a Hidden Location, and one Ability Point will be received for reaching it.
