Missing Momma is one of the Collectibles in Control. It is an episode of Threshold Kids, a Bureau-produced video series used to explain paranatural concepts to young children.
Transcript
[Threshold Kids intro, approximated: "Step into the FBC, there's lots to do, there's lots to read, but look don't touch, and don't scream much, let's join the Threshold Kids, let's join the Threshold Kids!"]
[Meg is shown crying while reading a paper; Topher walks on-scene]
TOPHER: Hey, Meg. What's wrong?
MEG: My mom's dead.
[Topher pats Meg's back]
TOPHER: I'm so sorry, Meg. What happened?
MEG: I don't know! They blacked it out.
[Meg shows the document she was reading]
TOPHER: It's like the Director says: "Confidential" and "Children" both start with "C".
MEG: Then the Director's a poophead! A dirty, rotten fart person.
TOPHER: Dad says that my momma went missing in actions. She walked into the City and didn't come back.
[Close-up of Topher]
TOPHER: I don't know what missing in actions means, but I sure wish someone would find her.
[Meg is seen putting her arm around Topher's shoulders]
MEG: I'll help you look, Topher. We'll find your momma together.
[The last word trails off; Meg looks at the camera while an ominous noise plays]
