[Threshold Kids intro, approximated: "Step into the FBC, there's lots to do, there's lots to read, but look don't touch, and don't scream much, let's join the Threshold Kids, let's join the Threshold Kids!"]
[video starts with Meg and Topher in a classroom, with Mr. Bones as the teacher]
MR. BONES: Since little Topher is taking a trip with his father into the world outside our wonderful Bureau, I think it's a good time to talk about secrets. Who can tell me what a secret is?
TOPHER: It's something you hide from everyone so they don't get scared.
MR. BONES: Partially correct, Topher. A secret is something you don't tell anyone outside the Bureau. Because people outside the Bureau...
MEG (and Topher): Aren't ready for the truth of reality.
MR. BONES: Very good. When you tell someone a secret, you're hurting their brains very badly. Now! Let's review what exactly is or isn't a secret.
[Mr. Bones pulls down a diagram of a rainbow on a white background, terminating at a cloud]
MR. BONES: First, we have a rainbow. Secret or not secret?
TOPHER (and Meg): Not secret.
MR. BONES: Correct.
[The diagram changes to a rainbow on a black background, terminating at a ringed planet. A distortion filter is applied]
MR. BONES: And the true version of rainbows?
MEG (and Topher): Secret.
MR. BONES: Correct. Cats?
[a diagram is shown of a cat next to a dead bird; ther distortion filter is applied]
TOPHER (and Meg): Not secret.
[Mr. Bones is shown with the same distortion filter]
MR. BONES: Correct.
[The distortion filter is removed, showing Mr. Bones in front of a diagram of a hairy bipedal humanoid creature]
MR. BONES: And the Alpine Chimera?
TOPHER: Not secret.
MEG: Secret.
[Mr. Bones strikes the desk and Topher gasps]
MR. BONES: Ah ah, Topher. Too many slip ups, and your father will have to go on vacation without you. You don't want to end up like Meg, do you?
TOPHER: What? What happened to Meg?
[pause, camera focuses on Mr. Bones' skeletal ribs and doll face mask before focusing on Meg]
MEG: I'm not allowed to go outside anymore.
MR. BONES: Correct!
