Peggy is a woman who lives in Biloxi with her husband.
Background
Peggy and her husband bought a Himalayan salt lamp at a garage sale and brought it back home for their living room. She did not think much of it other than as a item for decoration. However, she later noticed that her husband was constantly focused on the salt lamp any time that he was in the living room, and would get distraught when the lamp was turned off. One night, she woke up at 3 AM to discover that her husband was not in bed. When she went to look, she found her husband in the living room staring at the salt lamp with a smile. After trying to shake him back to his senses, he began to speak, telling her, "Every time a reflection reflects itself, it gets a little greener." He then turned to look at her, and she realized that his eyes were green rather than brown like they normally were.
The next day, she called the America Overnight radio program to talk about her husband. After hearing her story, the host realized that the situation was similar to another incident in Decatur, and told Peggy to stay on the line for further questioning with his producer Karen Harris before reporting the matter to the FBC headquarters.[1]
A letter written by Peggy's husband can be found in an area of the Foundation where the Astral Plane has bled in. Peggy's husband realizes that something is wrong with him and whatever is controlling his body is not himself, writing that "[everything turns green] when [it's] close." He warns Peggy to stay away from the entity, as he does not know where he has ended up and does not want his wife to share the same fate.[2]
