Research was conducted into the potential uses for the paranatural matter known as Exogenic Mass, per the Altered Materials Utility Initiative.
Researchers evaluated the matter’s offensive, defensive, and support capabilities. After extensive testing, all relevant staff concluded that the Exogenic Mass does not meet the reliability standards for use by Bureau employees for the following reasons:
A. Exogenic Mass displays signs of minor intelligence, capable of avoiding detection and destruction by multiplying in inconspicuous locations. Any level of intelligence may result in unforeseen incidents.
B. Exogenic mass is highly volatile, any mid- to high-velocity impact causing the matter to forcibly detonate.
C. Exogenic Mass adheres to any surface it comes into contact with, limiting applications.
As this material is no longer a candidate for Bureau use, containment of the Exogenic Mass and its Threshold of origin should continue until further notice.
