Evade is one of the abilities that Jesse can obtain in Control. The ability is gained when Jesse binds herself to the Object of Power known as the Merry-Go-Round Horse from the side mission known as A Merry Chase. Evade allows Jesse to quickly dash across a short distance, avoiding danger but also consuming energy. This ability can be paired with Shield to execute Shield Rush.
