Agent Mark Gibson was an Astralnaut for the Federal Bureau of Control.
Biography
As an Astralnaut, Agent Gibson embarked on a total of 21 dives into the Astral Plane, and the last one was responsible for his death. Upon his return, he immediately complained of migraine-like pain, intense pressure behind his eyes, and partial blindness, also unable to recall anything he experienced during the dive. He was immediately taken to a Bureau medical examiner; however, shortly after preliminary examination, an Astral Spike burst out of his head, killing him in the process, having hitchhiked inside to enter the Oldest House.[1] This was the Bureau's first encounter with an Astral Spike, and it was quickly contained and studied within the Research Sector.[2]
