David Wolff is a wealthy investment trader and paracriminal from Toronto, Canada. In the spring of 2010, The Federal Bureau of Control investigated Wolff for suspected trafficking in altered materials before getting arrested by Bureau agents.
Background
Not much is revealed about Wolff's life prior to being arrested by the FBC, but according to an article in Toronto Daily, Wolff was apparently a quite wealthy and successful businessman married to a fashion model.
2010 Toronto Raid
In April 2010, Wolff's penthouse was raided by the FBC and he was then subsequently arrested for further questioning, where an entire collection containing several paranatural artifacts (including the Globe Altered Item named after him) were discovered. It is unknown as to what became of Wolff after being detained by the FBC.
To cause public confusion surrounding Wolff's absence, America Overnight (a secretly FBC-controlled radio show tasked with both gathering paranatural-related intel and spreading disinformation on Altered World Event cases) invented a conspiracy theory claiming Wolff had staged his own disappearance in order to join the "Illuminati".
